The SIFULAN Malaysian Access Federation (SIFULAN) technical team was warmly welcomed by ITC/CamREN team to setup Identity Federation core services, Shibboleth IdPaaS and eduroam IdPaaS infrastructure for research and education (R&E) communities in Cambodia. This setup serves as a pilot project with the hope of supporting members of the R&E communities in Cambodia to establish human networking among each other as well as infrastructure connectivity that seamlessly linked to the international R&E communities. At the end of the four-day effort, the planned tasks mentioned above were up and running. The local team is now in the due process of testing/evaluating the services and applying for the eduGAIN membership with minimal remote hand-holding by SIFULAN team.
